We’re breaking ground on our first children’s hospital outside the Texas Medical Center

On May 15, 2008, Texas Children’s Hospital will break ground on Houston’s first community hospital exclusively designed and built for children and their families. Conveniently located on 55 acres at I-10 and Barker Cypress, Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus will provide easy access to the same unsurpassed standard of care for which Texas Children’s Hospital is internationally recognized.

In addition to bringing the same level of extraordinary care offered at the main campus in the Texas Medical Center, the West Campus will create and develop strategic partnerships with area community organizations, schools and businesses to help our children lead healthier, happier lives.

World-class services created for your community.
From the May 2008 ground breaking through its anticipated grand opening in 2010, our West Campus will be designed and constructed to provide world class pediatric health care and services. This expansion represents an exciting milestone in our commitment to offering innovative health care in a family-centered facility to provide a comforting, engaging and healing environment for children and their families.
